| Unless you really dislike the color you have now, it is much easier to repaint a car the same color. So many places can be missed when changing colors. Under the deck lid, under the weatherstripping, under the seats and mats, the engine bay.
If you are doing a complete restoration, in other words removing the engine, seats, mats, weatherstripping. etc., then all those places will be painted and my caution doesn't apply.
