Angry Strange Haze

Last Sunday I put a thin coat of S100 on the hood of my 1 month old Suburban. Granted it was a little hot, I pulled it into the garage to apply it though, and when I was done one side had a strange swirlling haze to it while the other side was like glass. What's going on and how can I correct it? Please help!

You can probably wash with dawn, are you can use a paint cleaner to remove the S100. By hot you need to be a little more desciptive. How hot was it? ( ok bad joke) but the heat explains alot. In other words it could have been the heat or something perhaps an oil substance was on the finish.

Temperature wise I couldn't tell you, I was in a rush to begin and after I applied to one side I realized I should have let it cool down a bit. That's when I rolled it into the garage and did the other side. Both side's shine and look like glass but with the exception of the drivers side which has the hazy look underneath. I'll try your suggestion and see what happens. Thanks.

Just a guess, but the swirly haze could be residual S100 that needs additional buffing. Try spritzing a little distilled water and buffing with a MF. This should remove any residual wax. If this does not work try washing just that panel with car wash and re-apply wax.
When I apply P21S(S100) I always do a final buff with a MF ( initial buffing is with 100% cotton towels) and always apply on a cool surface per instructions.

Maybe the wax was streaking as you were removing it because the hood was too hot and it softened the wax?

The heat definately is the culprit. When it stop's raining I'll try the suggestions everyone has thrown out there. I'll let you know what the outcome is, thanks again everybody.
