Does Leatherique protect?

I've read all the posts about Leatherique. However, I'm confused about one issue.

Does Leatherique protect the leather or is it mainly for cleaning and restoring leather?

Some here have suggested using Leatherique to clean and restore the leather and then using 303 to protect the leather. Is this correct?

Also, does Leatherique offer any UV protection?

If it matters, I'll be using it on a 1997 BMW 528i with cream/tan leather, a 2002 Mercedes C32 AMG with charcoal leather, and various leather chairs in my home.

I think the second step product the pristine clean white stuff is similar to 303 and such but probably has some other thingys in it.
