Here are some pics of an 82 Benz that i detailed yesterday, all by hand. The paint has some white cloudiness in it that I could not remove. Tried Megs ultimate compound, and it didn't work. So, went straight to
Klasse AIO, and it made the paint look better, but the white cloudiness was not removed. You can really see it in the before pics that I have. Come to find out, the owner had it painted after he bought it, so it is not original paint. I ended up applying one coat of
Klasse AIO, then 1 coat of SG. It looks good, but I wish I could have corrected the cloudiness problem. It's like the paint wanted more oils or something to give it that deep, wet look. Not really sure how to describe it...forgive my newbie-ness!
Any ideas on how I could have restored the paint? I must not have the right products or something...
