foam gun

I was looking at getting a gilmoar foam gu. I was hoping to see if I could receive advice of whether or not I should buy one and what is the difference between the gilmour foamaster and foamaster 2 here are some links

I spent some time reading through the existing thread that already discusses this issue in depth.
This is what I learned from that thread:

In the end, choose the one you like. The one with more brass pieces is said to actually rust a little and to "freeze up" if left unused for some period of time.

The plasticy version on the other hand, is said to be less durable in terms of dropping it and such.

Flip a coin .

i have the foam gun with the brass pin and prefer to have it over the other...

Yep

While I've always used the brass ones, I can make a good argument for the plastic version as well.

I somehow suspect that the plastic one will require a little less upkeep overall, but I hope it can be disassembled should hard water deposits/etc. start to clog things up (the brass one comes apart easily).

If you get the brass one, lock-tite the little screw-on bits so they don't come loose and get lost.

And with either model, consider replacing the pistol-grip with something more ergonomically friendly.
