BMW 7 series trim

I searched and found various methods/products used on different cars, however, would like some help on what is best for a 2001 740il. The trim in the below picture appears to have white discoloration, possibly from polish or wax?!

I used a picture from another thread, if need be, can be removed. It was the best example I could find without taking a picture.

It is a very soft material, seems very rubberish. I remember taping it up when I went over the car with my G100, but could have no caused this. I'm pretty sure it is wax.

Here ya go:

Are you trying to clean it or protect it?

There are many products for protecting such as:

303
Megs Hyper Dressing
Black Wow

just to name a few. Clean then with some all purpose cleaner and a tooth brush.

Re: BMW 7 series trim

I have heard really good things about Black Wow. That would probably be your best bet.

Meguiarsw All Purpose Cleaner works great . . . . just use a small stiff bristle brush like a old tooth brush.

As for the 303 product to use:

303 Aerospace Protectant will be the one you want.

$8 for oz
$13 for 16oz

you might be able to find it for a little less.

Re: BMW 7 series trim

Can anyone provide a link to Black Wow? I found Black WOW Exterior Trim Restorer - BW-04 and Black Again FREE BONUS - BA-4008 on Autogeek.

Which one should I look into?
