Yeah, that's one of the reasons I use it
The Sonus stuff is nice and neutral too.
I simply *hate* "luggage shop smell" leather treatments for interiors, not *one* of my vehicles smelled like that from the factory. I want every vehicle to smell the way it did when it was brand-new (yeah, even the dog-haulers ). Although Accumulatorette kinda liked some "Jaguar" branded leather cream that smells like soap, and I don't mind if her A8 smells like that stuff, at least it's fresh/clean smelling.

Re: Fake Leather smell?
I agree, most of them suck.
And then there is Z10. I've told Sal over the phone that I believe its the highlight of his line. Though there are products on the market that can match his sealants, nothing comes close to smelling as heavenly as Z10.

Well I tried smelling a cow,but I don't want my car to smell like that.
What does work pretty well is to go to a leather craft store and they will usually give you left over scraps of leather.Put it in a net type bag and just put it in the car out of site, like under the seat. The smell is real leather and it does last a long while.

Hard to define, like porn, it the words of Justice Potter Stewart, "I know it when I see it" or in this case, smell it.

Different (auto interior) leathers smell different. Other than a few times when different marques were all using Connolly, I've never found any that smelled quite the same.
The leather in Jag XJS's smells kinda like barf! I sure hate admitting it, but every single one (with an original interior) that I've ever been around (new, old, whatever...including mine ) has been the same and my pal who's seen as many of 'em as anybody says the same thing. The same model year sedans smell completely different...just the way they tanned the leather for the coupes, I guess

Hey, don't get me wrong, I love the smell of quality leather too A high-end luggage shop smells heavenly!
I just don't want my cars to smell that way (no, not even the XJS), I'm a sucker for the new-car smell.

I like Blackfire High-UV Leather Conditioner. It's got a great leather smell!

The classical scent of leather is more leathery than the leather itself!
Do you think this is a true statement?
PM me if you would you like to try it out?

Re: Fake Leather smell?
I think Accumulator is on to something. Leather conditioner tailored to the brand of car so the scent matches.

Re: Fake Leather smell?
I'm pleased with Zaino's Z9 leather cleaner, followed by Zaino's Leather In a Bottle. (Z10, I reckon?).
