I live in a condo and have been using the ONR....I spray down the car with an ONR mix....and then I use the one bucket method......so far I am happy with the product....though my car is white

On a side note...I read that Infiniti's clearcoat is self correcting.....

Yeah, I believe on their 09+. I have an 07'.

Anyone have any good recommendations on products to use with ONR. I'll do a quick search I'm sure there are a few threads on it.

    I'm thinking about using...

    Washing - Cobra "The Bone"

Drying (#1) - A Large Plush MF (Prima Monster Fluffy?)
    - Any good alternatives?

Drying (#2) - A decent MF (Vrooom from target?)
    - Scott was using these on the video.
    - I'm a little concerned that they're from Target.
    - Any alternatives?

    What about Megs WW?

    Thanks

I'll wash it once every two weeks. Thanks for the tip.

    Thanks Legacy99 for your help.

    Time to purchase more products/equipment.
Oh, is yours a recent year? (08/09)? I know the 03-05s are horrible (speaking from experience), 06-0? I don't really know, havn't heard many complaints about paint quality, so maybe they changed it.

I wasn't aware that g35s were using self-healing paint (I thought only the EXs?), but I'd be really curious to see how a detailer takes care of it - i.e., somebody who knows how to wash properly and not induce marring.

I've found (atleast for me) the best towels to use with ONR for washing to be autogeek's purple cobra's jrs.

They have the right amount of nape and plush to them, plus it's very easy to see when it's dirty (I do a panel, see any dirt on the towel then rub it out before using it on the next panel)

For drying, I've found the blue waffle's weaves to be good - I first use a leaf blower ot get off the majority of the water, then spritz with M135/UQD, use the blue waffle wevae to spread the quick detailer/sop up any leftover water, then use a purple cobra jr to buff off the qd (incase you can't tell, I LOVE the purple cobra jr towels)

Don't use a MF to wash, especially with ONR. Dirt will just cling to a mf. Use a sheep skin or a grout sponge.

I've had the exact opposite experience - I've tried a sheep skin mitt and it marred the HELL out of my car after 1 wash. never tried a grout sponge though.

MF tenticle mitt was horrible as well.

However, I've had excellent "luck" with the MF towels (specifically purple cobra jrs) - I generally wash one panel, then rub out the cloth in my bucket, then proceed to the next.

After every wash I go over the car with my sun gun and brinkman looking for washed induced marring - I never find any (except on suppppper soft black, like g35c and bentley cgt, but even then it's just hte occasional marr here and there because of how soft the paint is, nothing major)
