Two Day Detail

I am detailing my car over two days. The first day i plan to do the interior and exterior wash and clay.

wash, dry, clay, wash

on the second day I was planning to use a 2 step polish (Menzerna SIP and PO106FA) and then top it off with some Klasse HGSG.

My question is, do I have to re-wash my car the next day even though it is being kept in the garage overnight?

Thanks

No. Only if it is cover with dust.

Re: Two Day Detail

Put some IPA in a spray bottle and do an IPA wipe down.

Re: Two Day Detail

I wouldn't rewash it. The IPA wipedown is a good idea.

Re: Two Day Detail

if it is not covered with dust and junk like mentioned, either an IPA wipedown or quick detailer wipe down. Or if you are proficient with ONR a quick wash down that way

Re: Two Day Detail

I'd do the QD/ONR before the IPA...better lubricity and encapsulation of anything that might've settled on the paint.

I'd sure hate to do all that polishing and then mar things up because a speck of something abrasive somehow got on it.
