Hi everyone, started my first attempt at polishing ever. Got a G110, some Soft Pads 2.0, and the M205. Some quick pics and questions before I move on to the rest of the car.

This is a 1995 Volvo, never seen a MF towel until earlier this month. The pics were after a Dawn Wash, Clay with CG clay and ONR lube, and a Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner wipedown. Sorry, don't have a decent light so I'm using the flash of the camera. M205 was applied twice, each time with 5 passes, polishing pad.

I wasn't expecting this combo to be aggressive enough to take all everything and I'm very happy with the overall results. I do have some questions though. Is this residue normal?



I start seeing this little specks of polish after the 2-3rd pass out of 5. I'm using 3 heavier passes and 2 lighter passes according to the directions on the bottle. I hope it's not "dry buff". Or is "dry buff" when the pad too dry? How can you tell?
