    I have (2) products here.

    1) 3M Perfect-It 3 Machine Glaze (# 39012)
    2) 1Z Metallic Polish (Pro Line)… it’s in a cylinder bottle.

    I am armed with a UDM…

which 2 use first? what type of pads do I use? what revolution?

DAS Polishing Pad (i have this pad)
Foam Pad Kit for Porter Cable 7424 & Ultimate Detailing Machine Car Polisher just bought this kit.

    I have minor swirls.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the 3M 39012 I wonder if it's similar to the Perfect-It III Machine Glaze 05937, that was a nice mild polish with a bit of cut (more so than the 1Z Pro MP). But for all I know the 39012 is a true glaze as in nonabrasive

The 1M Pro MP is *VERY* mild. Unless your paint is *VERY* soft I wouldn't expect any real correction from it. I use it after eliminating any marring with a more aggressive product.

I've never tried the DAS pad but it might work well with the 1Z Pro MP *IF* you keep it clean so it doesn't load up (polish in those cuts in the pad). The ones in the kit you linked are apparently 6", and that's gonna result in some *VERY* gentle polishing.

The 1Z Pro MP, being gentle, should only be used with a polishing or finishing pad. Don't use it with a more aggressive pad or you'll possibly get marring you won't be able to correct (with what you have).

I wouldn't expect much correction with what you have. Even though your swirls are "minor", you might not have aggressive enough stuff to correct them. You'll know soon enough once you try.
