Re: Ask the Autogeek! Question & Answer Thread
I did a full detail on my car 2 weeks ago, got the paint nearly perfect on the soft BMW flat black paint. I waxed the car on 4 separate days since then with Collinite Insulator Wax. This past weekend, I was giving it a wash in preparation for a final coat of Dodo Supernatural, and mid-wash, I had to drive the car to the hospital due to a family emergency. (All is well now).
Now, after sitting around for hours, there are waterspots all over. I tried Meguiars UQD, no luck. I need to get these waterspots off, but don't want to strip off all the wax. Can't be aggressive with an MF because bmw jet black paint is super soft.
Any ideas? Alcohol would just remove wax no? What if I applied a cleaning wax with the PC with a finishing pad?
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

A cleaner wax would work just fine.

Have you tried washing the car again and then using a detail spray afterward? This may do the trick since the waterspots are fresh.

I was trying to find an Ozone Generator for detailing .Do you have any suggestions? I never hear or see threads about odor and smoke smell removal.

What's a good pad or are good pads to buy for hand polishing those hard to reach spots?

Re: Ask the Autogeek! Question & Answer Thread
Hope this is the right place for this so here it goes. I keep reading about "jeweling the paint" in threads. What is jeweling? How do you do it? Is is good/bad for paint? What step in the detail process is this, before wax/sealing?

Re: Looking for Tire Dressing Recommendation
Just wanted to see if you could recommend (in the sea of tons of products) your top pic for a Tire dressing that isn't overly shiny, and has good longevity once applied? Thanks, D

Re: Ask the Autogeek! Question & Answer Thread
Ok, another NewB question. I have my PC7424, MG 105, 205, KAIO and KSG. I have been reading for several weeks, different methods, etc.. but one thing I can't seem to find a definitive answer on is what to do between polishes? I'm new to machine detailing, used to buff my car out by hand, and in between a polish and a glaze, I'd rewash the car. Is this necessary? or just a wipe down with a MF and a QD?
Thanks in advance!
