Klasse AIO and P21S question

Hello, I am a newbie to this degree of car care, so please excuse such an entry level question. I read on this site that P21S over Klasse AIO produces a deep wet shine. My question is does the AIO need to cure before I apply the carnuba wax, and if so then how long should I wait, or can I apply the wax as soon as I rub out the AIO? Thanks very much.

Re: Klasse AIO and P21S question

I'd just try to wait a half hour or so.

IMO there is no need to wait. AIO is a great WOWO product and is a great base for any LSP I have ever used.

carl k- Welcome to Autopia!

As noted, there doesn't seem to be a need to wait for the AIO to cure.

Note that the AIO doesn't do any real prep beyond cleaning the paint; the label/ad-copy sometimes gives people unrealistic expectations with regard to scratches/etc.

Opinions vary..but *my* opinion is yes, it does. That's also what the manufacturer recommends and it's the conventional wisdom, but some people think you don't need to wait.

I wait ~24 hours, though I doubt that the length of a day is coincidentally the same amount of time it takes for the product to cure It's a safe ballpark estimate, but a few hours either way shouldn't make any difference.
