Whtie Paint all over.....Help!!

My father in law drove through spilled white paint in front of home depot on accident and now it is all down the side of the truck. Anything I could do to get it off?? I could score some big points if so. I know, I know pics would help but I do not have a digital camera right now.

Sprayway makes paint removal wipes that work excellent. TOL sells them.

Re: Whtie Paint all over.....Help!!

I detailed a Suburban about a month ago that had the same thing happen but it was on the highway. ALL OVER THE SIDE OF THE TRUCK. It wasn't on ther in blotches but more like a spray. I will post somne picts later. Anyway, I used a Meg's clay bar and got it all off. It is a LONG process but I did get it all. PITA!!! Truck came out looking GREAT!!!

I just recently had a vehicle (black) that got side swipped by a white car, used mineral spirits worked great.

WD-40 also works great on removing some paint, my guess is it'll do about the same as the mineral spirits that dionnfr mentioned. If that doesn't work I'd move up to a good clay..... if you use an aggressive clay, like Clay Magic Red, expect to polish out some marring when you're finished.
