The forum vets should get together and write a book about this - it would be the definitive guide to detailing.

Re: Helpful Threads For Newbies
It looks like you have some good threads and links. My only issue is with the leather links. Both of the links have some good info, but as usual they have some info wrong. A good cleaning is still the easiest and best way to keep your leather looking good and lasting a long time.

Awesome thread! Now I don't need to sift through hundreds of search results.

Hi Quality Leather,
I have no problem deleting the links if you would prefer. Do you have any other links to replace them with? Perhaps you have answered some leather questions in the past or could create a new thread to link to here...?
Let me know what you prefer.
Thanks,
volvie!

Re: Helpful Threads For Newbies
Volvie,
I wrote a document awhile back, but it needs updating. I will look for some other sites, but a basic cleaning is easy. A mild cleaner like dishwashing liquid with a 3M delicate duty scrub pad is all you need to keep your leather clean and lasting a long time.

Hi Quality Leather,
Thanks for the update-- I've added a note before the leather links and referred to your comments within this topic.
