Need help selecting Edge 2000 pad for applying Megs M80

I am going to be doing my Spring polishing on my car this weekend, and I plan on using Meguiars M80 to clean and polish the car.

I haven't polished the car in well over a year, so I am a little rusty on what Edge 2000 pad I should use on my PC to apply M80.

I am thinking either the Blue Polishing pad, or the real soft White Polishing/Finishing pad.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Try both, starting with white.

If you are doing it as a single step polish to remove light defects then use the blue pad.

If you are following up a stronger polish like M83 then i'd use the white pad.

Paint softness has a lot to do with it too. If you had a mercedes ceramic clear or audi clear i'd use maybe even go a pad stronger than the blue. If its a subaru or honda clear coat then i'd go a white pad for both.
