3M Cleaner/Wax?

Anyone tried this yet? Picked up some at WalMart for daily drivers and such that just want a wax job. Just wondering if anyone had any opinions on it.

Re: 3M Cleaner/Wax?

I've been thinking of giving this a try on my wife's beater with a coat of 3M Performance Finish on top. Let us know what you think after giving it a try.

Have you used both the cleaner wax and Performance Finish? How is the durability?

Re: 3M Cleaner/Wax?

Not sure about durability as i've never used them on my cars. I did use the 3M wax in the tin, not sure if that is what you are referring to, on a ladies car and them switched to Z2 and she commented that the 3M was easier to clean. I would think it would last a couple months.

The cleaner wax i used to use on some dealership lot cars and found it outstanding on red. I'll see if i can find any pics.

Re: 3M Cleaner/Wax?

Just a tip, apply and remove a panal at a time. I put it on the whole car when I first tried it and it was hell to get off.

Re: 3M Cleaner/Wax?

This was once over with rotary and 3M mild cut cleaner wax. It does have fillers and as integritydetail said it can be a bear so test a panel first. I usually did a few panels and then removed.
