I have done a few of those trips visiting local stores in search of something. I rarely ever find what I want, but I do end up walking out with as bunch of unplanned items I had been looking for previously.

Target's Vroom brand of auto cleaning supplies includes a wide variety of detailing brushes. Cheap, and they work well. | |

I'm about to order Blue Supreme Polishing Towels to replace the orange Vrooms that were once used for removing polish on the paint.

Harbor Freight has great wheel brushes for around $1.67 if I remember right. They are a must have for cleaning the back of the wheels. | |
