I have seen some of the cars that have been 'zainoed'. I want to try it out. What products are good/great?

Try the total protection kit. It won't hurt you too bad and it comes with most of their popular products. Oh and add a bottle of their tire gloss.

If you plan on doing Zaino better make sure the surface prep is close to perfect. Zaino is clarity plus and than some.

    I would suggest z2/z5/z8.

Same here but I also suggest that you get a bottle of their tire gloss it is excellent. If you have leather seats their cleaner and conditioner are also awesome. Come to think of it so is their glass polish. The only Zaino product I have not tried is their plastic polish.

You can get excellent results using Z-AIO, Z5 or Z2 and then maintain with Z8.

By using Z-AIO you won't need to buy ZFX.

Why won't you? Sorry, I don't know the zaino as good as some others.

I thought AIO just basically cleans the surface and the ZFX makes the z5/z2 cure faster so you can apply another layer immediately after each other.

The Z-AIO will bond to the paint. The Z2 or Z5pro can be applied over it and will cross link bonding it. If you want to apply more than one layer of Z2 or Z5pro in less than 24 hrs than buy the ZFX. Save yourself $20 and do the second layer the next day. Z6 would help with a wipe down (clean dusting) before apply another layer the next day.

I was in your same shoes 2 weeks ago. I've tried just about everything out there and for the most part pleased with them all but there was just something missing LOL. Yes, ZAINO! I read about it left and right on this board but always thought what the hell, I have 3/4 full bottles of everthing why do i need another. Anywho, fast forward to a boring day at work and I put in my order for ZAINO, got the stuff last tuesday, used it this past friday and I love the stuff.

So that was the long way of saying I ordered the Zaino ALL IN ONE, the Z-2pro and some leather conditioner. I'm no pro, my paint is in good condition and those 2 products worked great.

One other thing I have to mention is that this is the first time I actually followed the directions for a product and really you DON'T need that much product of either Z-AIO or Z2pro. Use the amount recommended on their web page. To give you an idea, using the ZAIO just on my hood took maybe 3/4 of a thimble full of ZAIO. You think it's not enough and won't do crap but really it does (I applied with a PC by-the-way).

    good luck

IMO, I would definitely pick up ZFX. Even if you use ZAIO you should only apply one non-ZFX'd coat every 24 hours or so. Zaino is one of the few sealants that allow you to apply up to 3 coats consecutively minutes apart.

The beauty of Zaino comes in layers, multiple layers.
