Product Storage - Type 2 HDPE - HDE

I don't have the bottles in front of me....but both are type 2. One is HDPE marked and the other is HDE.

For product storage, certain products just tend to *swell* up the plastic. So as I use them with sprayer heads, the plastics just swell in which is NOT a good thing.

For example the P21S 32oz bottle of citrius cleaner I have is just fine.

However 1:1 Megs. Citri Gel in a 32 oz type 2 always swells in as I use the product. Even releasing the sprayer head doesn't really get the bottle always back to shape. I used it last week and forget to *let some air* back into the bottle, Just went to organize and the the bottle swelled in to the point where it actually creased the plastic bottle to the point where clear plastic turned white !

Anyone in the know care to break this down to me.

I'd be curious to know as well. While it doesn't concern me much it is a nuisance. Maybe it's an oxygen deplete thing. (I failed Chemistry on several occasions!!!).
