Pittman's VaporWax!

Try not to lose your lunch, but I couldn't resist. This one "replaces lost electrons in the paint."

The website is, of course, craptastic! Introducing Pittman's Original VaporWax Acrylic Conditioner! And yes, you can buy it wholesale!

Re: Pittman's VaporWax! (warning)

"VaporWax initial application will begin a process of vaporization into the paint. Do not wash your vehicle for a minimum of 24hrs.
The longer VaporWax sets undisturbed the deeper it will condition your paint. VaporWax continues to vaporize into the paint for
up to 48hrs."

"Does not leave a white or powdery residue. Does not require buffing after application."

"WHEN SHOULD YOU PUT WAX OR
POLISH ON A NEW CAR FACTORY
FINISH?
NEVER
A wax shine is achieved by the use of
abrasive particles that are designed to
remove the factory finish and replace it with
a lessor after market shine.
Close inspection after waxing will reveal
millions of micro thin scratches. (swirl marks)
Wax or polish is fine for older vehicles.
They have nothing to loose."

LoL

Re: Pittman's VaporWax! (warning)

Horrible website and pretty high prices but from what I am reading I get the idea that this is something you spray on and just leave there, I wonder how that works? It does say somewhere near the bottom "it's an acrylic paint" so maybe its just like some strange form of clearcoat? Or maybe its really just a WOWA, possibly re-bottled opti-seal or something?

Re: Pittman's VaporWax! (warning)

I bet it's just a light silicone spray, like a QD. That's why you can't use a soap to wash the car, just water, or you'll wash their alien technology right off

That's great info, man. Tell us some more about the regimen you used to use prior to VaporWax, since this was your first post!

For a week all these guys did was dig up threads and post all kinda crap about vaporwax. They made all kinda of ridiculous claims, like you can "bake" on a Teflon coating w/ a buffer and if you use Vaporwax you just use water to clean your car.

Did you guys see that it costs about 18 dollars AN ONCE? What a bunch of &%$#. We did some research into this company and the guy that created this "alien liquid research" (kmod alr) is quoted in interviews as saying that it's not about the product it's just constant marketing that makes a sale. Basically it's only out there for the purpose of spam...

Can anyone tell where Pittman's Original/Vapor Wax is located? Time to put the smack down on this one.
