Trust me, that was a spam post. That was not "exchanging information", it was a sales pitch. That is someone who uses a web crawler in forums to see if his product is mentioned and when it is, he registers and pretends to be a happy customer.

Re: Pittman's VaporWax! (warning)

Amazing isn't it. As much as I love to give anything a go and hope to find some products that are really revolutionary, that stuff definately can not be.

Why doesn't Mr Pittman spend some time and come up with some true blue products that work rather than waste his time on this crap.
It's probably the same thing with Glare. I know most of you wouldn't touch their stuff but I've found some great things about Micro Finish and Pro Polish and use them on glass, exterior trims, wheels, wiper arms and as a sealant on paint sometimes.
Sure I hate their marketing BS and I reckon permagard is way better but the brand has it's place in my shop.

Maybe we need to make it tougher for people to join up so that spammers can't keep infiltrating the forum

That really is too bad. I've done business with CMA in the past, and it was a pleasure. Based on the shilling (1 shilling = 12 pence, right?) and another recent post regarding their service, I'm unlikely to go back. There are too many good, honest alternatives.

I would rather see David embarrass the spammers big time and then turn them in. We should have a spam list with all these poor companies listed on them.

We can call it, Company Going Nowhere List, Companies seeking people for their bad products

Let me get this straight: YOU are single handedly responsible for reviving a 7 week old SPAM thread, and you are worried that you might get banned for preferring a product that doesn't "use wax"?

You are either in on this spam job, or your reading comprehension leaves a bit to be desired.

Hahahaa.

Do a google search for "Pittman's Vaporwax"
and check the line at the top.

Did you mean: "Pittman's vaporware"

OK, maybe I overdid the funny tobacco in the 70's, but how did CMA get in this?

Sorry Guys I did not realize this was a click forum. I have never got so many responses from any post I have ever made. You guys want to tar and feather me and ban me? Just for making a comment?
Wow, you should call this forum DavidB and his storm troopers. Just kidding guys, more like a SWAT attack, no a BORG attack would better describe the experience. you got guys coming out the walls.
Seriously No harm meant just having fun.

Badmittn,

If you don't like it here, you are more than welcome to leave. Encouraged to, in fact . . .

Re: Pittman's VaporWax! (warning)

Sorry to revive this old thread, but my interest in pittman's headlight restorer made me search for reviews of his only other product, this "vaporwax".

So with all these members here, has anyone tried this product yet and can comment about it? I'm sure there are members here who try every single product they can, and it must have been tested by one of us!

Yes, the guys site is horrific, I spent many minutes trying to figure out what each of the kits actually comes with and I still have no idea. Every link seems to go to another page that looks almost the same.
