Re: I just ordered Vintage
ok, with this one i am just going to not say anything because it might be held against me. I am sorry if i read that wrong. I ran my post through a spell check and i didnt see anything spelled wrong. What did i spell wrong?
Now the off price idea was just that... an idea. I wasnt saying that i would i was just throwing it out there. And i don't know the legalities of everything but im pretty sure i could sue him (sp) if i give him money and he doesn't ship. Also if you place an order with a credit card you can contact the credit card company and file a report and you will be reimbursed (correct me if im wrong). From what i have gathered i am angering a few people, my guess is you are one of them. I think on that note i am going to not post in the thread and with this subject anymore.

This was his reply, the stuff in bold I am writing in to refute his arguments.
1st off talk to your friend. It was not my fault your backward *** country cant even figure out postal mail customs. (He thinks I live in canada I guess, however I live in the USA and so does he) When a package is held up in customs the receiver is supposed to be notified by customs. I have had so many problems with your countries lame, uneducated, incompetent postal service I don't ship there anymore. I guess you should go and get a job with them. You seem like you would fit right in.
2nd I was out the money for the wax and the shipping. Well, according to zymol you weren't out the money for the wax because they said you never ordered it. Also why would you lie about it in the auction if what you are saying is true? Why wouldn;t you list the auction under OCDgarage and simply say it was overstock? The auction says that you purchased it for a friend as a favor and that this friend did not have the money so now you have to sell it. You are contradicting yourself by telling me that it was canadian customs' fault but then saying in the auction that you purchased it for a friend who did not have the funds. Get your facts straight before you go making accusations.
Go ahead and report anything you want to whom ever you want. (I informed him that I reported this item as possibly fraudulent) I am not doing anything wrong. I am selling an item that I have and the item is still new and unopened.
Oh yeah, I can sell it you if you would like, but price would be $3,600 and the wax may be slight shade of brown.
In case you read that without paying attention, the above is Brett's reply to me telling him that he was a scammer (which he is).
Also, if you try to call Brett's phone number, the one listed in this thread, it is disconnected. Also if you go to OCDgarage.com and try to call the number listed there, you get "this mailbox does not exist".
 The plot thickens!
Mods: is this enough for you to sticky this so everyone can see what a scammer this guy is? If you wish, I can take screenshots proving that this is the message he sent me.

Re: I just ordered Vintage
baseball lover, take my word for it. Make sure you find a dealer who is reputable. There are other threads here on ocd, i should have listened but i didnt. If the wax was comming or not dosent matter at this point. As far as i am concerned that fact is in the past. there is lots of great info here so people can take from it what they want.
i dont mean to be an *** or de a ****, but as far as i am concered i am done. This has taken up alot of my time and energry. i am exhausted. i dont have time to dwel on the past, i have learned a leasson which i will remeber forever.
I dont thin this post is commin across as i want it to. I really do appricate what everyone is doing I really do. i am very happy there is a group of people behind me who are willing to stand up and fight for me. It means alot. So thanks everyone.
and baseball lover, dont let the world push you around. I take alot of slack about my spelling and gramer. There will be naysayers (many of them who realy and trully mean well). Be yourself and do what you feel is right. Sometimes it takes the school of hard knocks to teach you, but you will learn what tou need to.
i am tired so i am off to bed, thanks everyone for the support

Re: I just ordered Vintage
quick update on the wax, i know iknow im brining up an old thread but its almost 1am here and i cant sleep and have nothing else to do.
so after my final yesterday i needed to relax, i decided hey its 0 out why not wash my car? so i did..
I went to the coin wash, sprayed it off and started to notice some slight loss of beading, it was still strong but not as strong as day one... so that was 6 weeks ago. I would say it has not yet reached its half life. i have some 2 weeks old on my moms car so we will see.. anyway. i applied anohter coat and i looks great.
I have ot say the car looks better after 3ish weeks. The wax seems to need to age.
oh yeah keep in mind my car is outside 24/7 it has seen heat, cold, snow, rain, ice, dirt, rocks, ect in those 6 weeks, this weather is not easy on my car, most weeks it gets a quick spray at the coin wash..
as for the jar, i may need a refilll sooner then thought. I have 5 family cars right now (jag is in storage and t-bird just got finished at rm restorations) i have waxed them all a few times. i have 3 coars on my little bros car, 3 on my older bros car, 2 on my moms rx, had 3 on my dads park avenue, 4 on my car, 3 on my buddies truck(his b-day present) and then 2 on my best friends first car.. i have used about 1/3 of the jar... so thats 15 car so far.. i use alot... i dont mind using more, as its reffiable..... I also have a small contnier stashed in my garage, my parents house and my work bay (buddies car wash).... so i guees not really 1/3 but close... i need a stash for when i run out.. im thinkng I will get 2 or 3 more months before i hacve to send it back....
well sorry for the ramblings

Re: I just ordered Vintage
Not to bring up a bad subject, but there was a thread about an order pending at OCDGarage.
I wanted to cross post this thread as a reference.
Hope all is going well with the Vintage, and BTW, it's wax, not something to eat I know it smells good but you need to refill already? WOW!
