lbls1, my friend has an SS camaro in the same color with black interior and SLP package. He lives in LI, so you may know him from the Camaro Club. I sent him your pics and said he knew who you were.

Car looks great by the way!

Re: I just ordered Vintage

Update on the ebay listing, it is most definitely Brett from OCD.

I sent him a question about the item that basically called him a lying scamming @$$ for cheating my friend in calgary (he knew I was referring to you calgarydetail when I said this) out of a wax, then trying to sell it on ebay under a different name.

This was his reply, the stuff in bold I am writing in to refute his arguments.

1st off talk to your friend. It was not my fault your backward *** country cant even figure out postal mail customs.(He thinks I live in canada I guess, however I live in the USA and so does he) When a package is held up in customs the receiver is supposed to be notified by customs. I have had so many problems with your countries lame, uneducated, incompetent postal service I don't ship there anymore. I guess you should go and get a job with them. You seem like you would fit right in.

2nd I was out the money for the wax and the shipping.Well, according to zymol you weren't out the money for the wax because they said you never ordered it. Also why would you lie about it in the auction if what you are saying is true? Why wouldn;t you list the auction under OCDgarage and simply say it was overstock? The auction says that you purchased it for a friend as a favor and that this friend did not have the money so now you have to sell it. You are contradicting yourself by telling me that it was canadian customs' fault but then saying in the auction that you purchased it for a friend who did not have the funds. Get your facts straight before you go making accusations.

Go ahead and report anything you want to whom ever you want. (I informed him that I reported this item as possibly fraudulent) I am not doing anything wrong. I am selling an item that I have and the item is still new and unopened.

Oh yeah, I can sell it you if you would like, but price would be $3,600 and the wax may be slight shade of brown.

In case you read that without paying attention, the above is Brett's reply to me telling him that he was a scammer (which he is).

Also, if you try to call Brett's phone number, the one listed in this thread, it is disconnected. Also if you go to OCDgarage.com and try to call the number listed there, you get "this mailbox does not exist".

The plot thickens!

Mods: is this enough for you to sticky this so everyone can see what a scammer this guy is? If you wish, I can take screenshots proving that this is the message he sent me.

Nice. Backward @ss country? Lame & uneducated. Here's a tip Brett (who is undoubtedly reading this); when we ship to the U.S the same crap happens. It's called "customs", and every country has it. You're an idiot. I'm glad your crummy website is failing.

LOL... i dont want to offend you (Calgary) but maybe if his business is failing we could get some products for wholesale and get a steal. Sorry if that is a little insensitive.

He could sell me his products at a 90% discount and I still wouldn't trust a single penny with him. You're young and have a lot to learn. If you haven't already learned your lesson after reading this thread, I don't know what to tell you. We were all young and dumb at some point. Eventually you'll learn it the hard way.

There are plenty of reputable vendors we can order from and many of them are having pretty good deals going on at the moment. I'd rather pay more money and know I'll be receiving my items vs getting something for a steal with the chance that the seller will run away with my money.

Thanks. No BS(sorry mods) for real???? Hmmm btw my club (lifba) on occasion will have about (there was 5 of us in one meeting with the same color ...for real) a couple of guys come in with the same color fbody. Kind of sucks for originality, but you could say that it means that there are a few of us with good taste . Ok maybe a little uncalled for but its all in fun.

Cool!!

Edit: What am I saying?? Word gets out back here about how MUCH I spent on wax.............and I'm done. People will want to have me committed!!! Oh well...

That's ashame. He's burnt that he tried to scam Mike, and he's slobbering and cryin' all over himself while trying to scam others. Really quality stuff.

It is sad that you can't get what you pay for with some of these types in our modern world.

No sympathy about Mike and all of what he went through. Later for this guy........Mike could've lost out with this one, but luckily his persistence made him the victor in this failed scam!!!

Pathetic!

Yes... i agree and i def. would rather support a good guy instead of an a$$ but the markup on detail products must be HUGE! Now you are right but i don't think calling me "young and dumb" is necessary. I was under the impression that a smart person would try to save money. And i dont think my age is relevant.

not only do you need to learn how to spell but you need to learn how to read also. I said EVERYONE (myself included) was young and dumb at some point, not just you. Saving money is one thing, but giving your money to someone who most likely won't ship you your product is not what I consider to be smart.
