Re: I just ordered Vintage
They said they can't track once it's over the border. I don't think this is the case, but whatever.

Re: I just ordered Vintage
ok another up date.
I just checked my CC statemtn online. It looks as though the money has been put back into my account, Its 2 am so I cannot call the bank for this question. I will in the morning but perhaps a late night surfer can help me out.
So I dont want to touch the money and then find out I have to give it back (notthat I assume Iwould)
So in having them post itback does that mean he was wrong and I have my money, or is it that they have given me the credit while they work it out.
I was told 4-6 weeks to get anythin done and its been like 2 or 3 days. It just happened today(I watch all my acounts like a hawk)
I dont know whats going on, I want to order again but I dont want to get screwed. I cannot afford a second jar of vintage.
ohh I also have not had time to fax in my e-maisl as proof.
I dont know whats going on, I dont want to wait till normal office hours just to find out.... arg.
well I guees I will find out in the morning at the latest
ohh and if its the real deal, I have found a very reputable canadian e-tailer, I know lots of people who have ordered from him, he is a great, upstanding guy who I have regular contact with.
He has told me with the system he has set up (a warehouse in the states and a place here, he gets it shipped to the states then bringsit up) he can get it quicker through customs (paraphrased). He said he had it in about a week(he has done it a few times with vintage he has said).. so im torn, do I order form him, who I would like to give business to, or do I go straigh from zymol and wait another moth... arg....
I guees I will have to call him and talk to him about it once I figure out whats going on with the money

Re: I just ordered Vintage
Unless the guy is an authorized Zymol reseller, why take that chance again? At least if you ordered it directly, they will have your information on file for when you do your refills. After all, that is a big reason why you're buying this wax right? You're spending $2000 on wax. Look where the money you've saved prior with OCD has landed you. In the end, it'll cost you more in lost time (having to dispute this with your CC company), and for a pro detailer, lost revenue. Don't be a fool and make the same mistake twice.

Re: I just ordered Vintage
The main thing is that you got your money back. I wouldn't doubt that the e-tailer is lurking here and had returned the money to avoid a confrontation with the cc company. Or the cc company had called to inform them that an investigation has begun. Either way, I don't think they can take away the money from you.
Thanks for the update and hope you get your Vintage soon!

Thats usually how a CC dispute works. Your CC company will give you back the money while they investigate. At the end of their investigation if it turns out you deserved the money back then you get to keep that money, otherwise they reverse it and take it back.

calgary, if this guy is an "official" Zymol reseller then no problemo. If not, and you trust him, why not buy it from Zymol (in your name, of course) and have it shipped to your guy's warehouse in the States and let him retrieve it from there? I assume there would be a charge for his service, but then there should be no problems with refills etc. because it would be registered to you, not him.

Re: I just ordered Vintage
Just remember that your ability to get the free refills depends on your purchasing the Vintage through an *authorized* Zymol reseller. I would call Zymol and get a list of *all* their authorized Canadian resellers, then research that list. If the reseller you've been talking about is on that list, you're good to go.
I still wouldn't take *any* chances. I'd order directly from Zymol or not at all.

I have contacted then in the past and have found there canadian reseller, actully anyway wax that si not refieable will not be sold to you if you are in canada. I tried to order concours righ from zymol and was told I had to go through the candian seller. Which was fine, they said I could order vintage straight from then though... so I do know the canadian reseller... ohh well. I wont be ordering the wax till I do a little more with visa, such as send in the e-mails and such. plus im am swamped with midterms so it will be atleast a week before i order, this will give me some time to think f who i am going to order fomr,, but im leaning either zymol, o zdocn (canadian zymol) depending who can get it to be faster

Hey calgary, you're sounding a little sleep deprived, buddy! Or maybe it's me! I don't quite follow. Are you saying if you buy Vintage from the Canadian "reseller", you can't get it refilled??!
Something else occurred to me: what happens when it does come to refill time? Do you have to go through the same BS about having to send it through an intermediary or else pay ~$300 in UPS brokerage?.......I guess that's a way down the road, though!
