Blackfire Scratch Resistant Clear Finishing Polish

So I just finished polishing my car with this stuff.

I think it's a fine polish. I haven't used the Menzerna equivalent so I can't compare to that but I will say it finishes nicely.

BUT it dusts like crazy. I'm used to the Optimum polishes and they really don't dust at all. I've also used Menzerna FPII and I must say I prefer the FPII as a final polish more just because it doesn't dust as badly.

I find the look to be pretty comparable to the FPII although I do beleive the Blackfire has a bit more bite to it and is not as mild as the FPII but then again it's not supposed to be so that's fine.

The other thing that bothers me... and this might seem like a small thing but for me it became more and more annoying... is the bottle. It's hard to control how much comes out most of the time. The nozzle opening is fairly big and many times I got much more polish than I wanted. I MUCH prefer the Menzerna bottle as the nozzle is much smaller and it's much easier to control how much product comes out.

So there you have it... a really nice polish but dusts a bit more than I would like and not crazy about the bottle

All in all I think I'll stick with the Optimum polish for any minor corrections and if I feel it really necessary finish with the FPII... but it was fun to try something new.

Re: Blackfire Scratch Resistant Clear Finishing Polish

Menzerna polishes dust a lot. I mean A LOT...According to Jon at CMA, he says that this has a lot more bite to it then the FPII.
