Just tried Opti Seal

Pics will come later...I simply love this stuff. Did the Volvo and it is an amazing look. Have it on top of a Poli Seal.
First thing I noticed, is A LITTLE DOES GO A LONG WAY.
Second thing is, it is not a watery type of solution. Much thicker than I expected, but makes it very easy to work with.
Did the whole car with 12 pumps. (it is a small car). I think I used a little too much too.
One of my biggest complaints with the other spray on product was that it was hard to tell if you were actually doing anything.
Not the case with this. You can tell that you have product on your applicator.
On the white car, the results give almost a "nuba" like look. Very wet.
Overall, I give it a HUGE thumbs up. Was skeptical going in, but with Anthony and Scott giving us updates, I felt confident.
They were dead right, this product works extremely well.

Re: Just tried Opti Seal

Some pics would certainly be nice So Opti-seal doesn't have any correcting abilities, right?

Re: Just tried Opti Seal

I see a note in another thread not to prime the applicator with QD and that is good to know. Mine is sitting in my US address and look forward to trying it.
Looking for those pics.

Re: Just tried Opti Seal

Girlfriend has the camera with her, but here are 2 pics with the phone. Does not do it justice. Had to strip off all the Nuba that was on there, and then used PS like I said, and topped with OS. My new fav combo I think.

Re: Just tried Opti Seal

WOW! Do you apply it in a circular manner or do it in stripes, one right next to the previous one?

Re: Just tried Opti Seal

Try a second and third coat. It just gets better.
You can do one more today and another tommrow. I think you could have used more.

Just apply it like any other LSP, it is self levelling.

Re: Just tried Opti Seal

Scott,
You were right, this stuff is absolutely amazing compared to any other LSP I have used.

Re: Just tried Opti Seal

It has been a few hours now, and I will tell you that the wetness is even more noticable now.
