Re: Menzerna's New 106FA (pic)

Why is there a Makita rotary in the last picture when he says he did it via PC? I see that he used the PC on the Detailing World site but I think he may have had some help from Mr. Makita...

Or the tool is just lying around. Many of pics show my PC yet I did that car in the pic by hand.

No secret that Blackfire SRC finishing polish is Menzerna PO106FF but with added lubrication.

PO106FA is a brand new product.

Re: Menzerna's New 106FA (pic)

Amazing but something for some reason doesnt seem right... I have used the PC and rotary for years and I never seen any marring like that being able to be knocked out almost 100% with a PC, polishing pad, and non compound on a SINGLE PASS! He must have worked the polish in for 10 minutes!! Even on super super soft paint I find that just a finishing pad and RMG will leave at least a slight micromarring on ultra soft paint due the jiggling motions.

Not calling BS, but that has to be the most amazing work I have ever seen for the process given.

EDIT: I know single pass does not mean one sweeping motion left to right. Means working the polish in.

Re: Menzerna's New 106FA (pic)

Also the front fender and the quarter panels seems to have a lot of clay bar marring.

10 minutes or not, the results look great. Lets say he lied like you seem to be implying, and it was 2 passes. Still looks pretty good.

Re: Menzerna's New 106FA (pic)

Another note... Does it seem coincidence to anyone that the detailers have a website that sells Menzerna products! Dont get me wrong again, I use Menzerna along with other products, but like I said, its hard to believe his process accomplished those results.

Re: Menzerna's New 106FA (pic)

He did say the paint was easy to correct. I would not know what that is like. All I ever get is the super strong hard clear with severe scratches and heavy brillo marring.

Re: Menzerna's New 106FA (pic)

I'm confused. One pass with a PC and it goes from heavy swirls to perfect gloss?

I never have "called anyone out" before on this forum. I have a lot experience with polishing. Of course pics are pics and Im not the one that poilshed the car. I have 106FF and I use strictly a rotary. The 97 supra I did had super soft paint and I let the owner use my PC, and finishing pad, and RMG, and micromarring was installed in the fender he did. I have yet to come across super soft paint flat black paint that wont micro marr under PC. Im not here to start trouble with anyone. Im just simply amazed that the results that posted were done they were. ALmost a miracle of sorts, and miracle are always questionable arent they?
