Who's using the Chemical Guys Citrus Wash?

Looks like it sticks to paintwork almost as a gel when diluted and applied through a sprayer.

How safe is it on wax?

I've been using it for awhile now think it's one of the best washes out there! I've never used it thru a foam gun or sprayer just in a bucket where the suds seem to never end. Lubricity is top notch as well with Citrus Wash. I use probably less than an ounce per gallon of water and find it to be very gentle on my lsp wether it's a sealant or a wax. I plan on getting more when my current supply runs out.

the citrus wash and gloss is awesome stuff...1/2 an ounce in a foam gun is enough to do my entire car...1/2 an ounce in 2 or 3 gallons of water is good in a wash bucket as well...the gallon size can yield you over 200 washes...i upgrade to 1oz if the car is especially dirty...and it does actually leave a gloss when drying..you are left with a very slick easy to dry surface after the final rinse..

The citrus wash is dilution dependent....1/2 oz for 1-2 gallons for a normal wash and is good and slick...2 once per gallon will strip wax and any deep grime


I buy it for wheel washing..I use 2-3 oz in a 32 spray bottle and makes a nice wheel cleaner...also a nice degreaser..

I used it a few times for a wash and it was very good...still like my DG901 and Griots better...but makes a nice wash to get a clean paint before any polishing using 2 oz per gallon of water...

so using it with the recommended 1/2 oz to 1-2 gallons of water makes a nice safe wash....not harsh....wax safe....

Oh...the spray I make for wheels makes a great pad cleaner also...it takes the collinite off the pads...good under carriage wash also....

Hmm...I just tried it today for the first time and I was very impressed. I used less than an ounce for 2-3 gallons of water. It also sheeted the water off really well, so drying was very easy. DG901 was my go to wash, but for me this tops it. Cleans better, economical and leaves a better finish. Pretty cheap as well, a gallon being less than $20.
