I got 2 bottles about 6 weeks ago and have plenty of chances to use it. It's nice, it's the enviro-friendly version of the earlier product.
It's quite similar to PB's shampoo. It's a bit "thin", if I may. I establish a baseline @ 1 tablespoon per 2 gallons of water and consider that my standard. I find it's too thin at that ratio. So, I've doubled up and that seems to yield a better result. You do get a big bottle for $8, but you've got to use it at twice the rate.
All in all, I am going to give the nod to Griot's shampoo or the 1Z Exclusiv Glanz shampoo as best of the best.
I also got the Victoria's shampoo this past week. It's good, but nothing to write home about. I am going to put it up for sale.

Tom, I think I feel the same way about the Victoria Soap unfortunately. I believe we bought it at around the same time. I wasn't overly impressed with it. It does say "for use with carnauba wax." Have no idea if that would/should make a difference as I'm using a sealant right now.
Anyways, it does seem that the more soaps I try, the more I appreciate Griot's.

I have both products and I've been able to compare them side by side and there's little resemblance. They don't smell the same, one is thick, the other is thin. One is (was) an uber-shampoo, the other is not. It's entirely possible that the mfr. simply substitutes the part number and says this is today's equivalent product. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice shampoo and likely far superior to many other products. It's nice to work with, it's just not quite the same as the original wash which was bordering on exceptional.

Quite thick, slick and did an excellent job cleaning. I actually thought I used too much for the amount of water I had in the bucket and thought I could have used half of what I did. I agree that it is very much like Poorboy's SS&S which I love. Now you guys have me wanting to try the 1Z Exclusiv! Agh, I have way too much soap.

Enjoy. | Okay, I'll give it a try. I've always liked 1Z Perls, just never used the Exclusiv Glanz. Thanks
