Optimum Poly Seal Question

I have Optimum Compound and Polish and I use Zaino for my sealant.

Should I use Poly Seal if I use Zaino or no?

Just not sure if I need to use it or if it would be a good idea.

Thanks.

Re: Optimum Poly Seal Question

It would be fine with Clear Seal, not sure if Z2 or Z5 would be fully compatible with the sealant/carnauba blend in Poli-Seal though. Maybe use Z6 after Poli-Seal then use Z2 or Z5.

Re: Optimum Poly Seal Question

Thanks Scott...I see... so really if I plan to use Zaino I should just do a polish with either my Optimum Polish or something like Menzerna FPII?

Also should I do a polish on my finish even if it doesn't appear to have flaws?

I assume no, but I've seen a lot of you guys polishing your client's cars and figured I'd ask.

Thanks again!

Re: Optimum Poly Seal Question

Without actually testing to see how compatible Z2 or Z5 is with Poli-Seal, I really can't accurately answer your question.

If the paint appears flawless, you can simply seal it...but I have done brand new cars that appear flawless but still show improvement with a light polish.
