Turtle Wax Micro Fiber Towels

I purchased some of these yesterday and they feel kind funny
like the surface feels like it sticks to my fingers is this normal for a micro fiber towel?

Blake is an unknown quantity at this point
I purchased some of these last year and for an inexpensive towel they were very good. Do a search and you'll find other favorable comments on this forum. Good bang for the buck.

I have mostly neatitems MF's, and I've noticed the same thing. If you have dry skin on your hands (I do), the tiny fibers in the towel seem to cling to every imperfection. AFAIK, it's normal.

My friend got a pair of new pakshak towels and also have some of the neatitems towels. By reading around the micro fibers will create a static electricity when rubbed against any dry surface more so if they are new towels. Loose micro fibers will be pulled away. This is normal. It should stop after a few washes. But that doesn't mean the micro fiber towel has lost its effectiveness. I hope that helps.

Smile Feels Strange, Doesn't It?...

Yes, microfiber will "cling" to your hand. Initially, this feels very strange, but you'll get used to it.

I usually get a laugh when I introduce one of these towels to someone and they feel it for the first time. The typical response is usually, "That's weird."

Depending on the towel, this clinging may subside with repeatedly washing the towel. I have noticed that the Neatitems towels that I have do not lose this feature, while the earlier towels that I had purchased from CMA (Miracle Towels) have changed somewhat in this regard. They are ultra soft, just not as clingy.

To date these have not been available anywhere around here but I saw these at a local Pep Boys so keep an eye out! I didn't buy any to test as I have waaaaay too many MF's for the time being.

That's Funny...

The local AutoZone near me just started to carry the TW MF towel. I sort of bumped on it as they had not carried them in the past. Anyway, I did purchase them (2 pk.) If I had to compare them to another towel, I would say that they are similar to the NicSand towels. Not as plush as Neatitems, and not even close to the CMA towels.

I reviewed 3 TW MF towels in my product review.

They are pretty good for the $$ and convience of pep boys.

MFs grab your finger prints and other defects in your skin. Kinda neat if you ask me.

Exact same thing happen to me, I brought one towel into work as I was fascinated with the thing, a friend was so exited with the feeling that I gave it to him ... but many people commented on the grabby feeling ...

Yeah, my fiancee was AIOing her car last weekend for the first time, and she just couldn't get used to the "grabiness" I think I may have to Klasse her truck from now on because I don't think she'll touch the MF towels ever again!

One benefit of the grabbiness is that if you drop it the towel iseasier to catch before it touches the ground. (Or so I've heard )

Robert
plenty of near misses!
