Reviews: Prima Amigo/Epic

Finally got a chance today to use these products that I bought last year.

Washed the X with some Tropi-Care Car Wash (the last of it), it cleaned up pretty good for the first wash since November. The Menzerna AJ and Collinite 845 were basically gone, but I believe they protected the paint pretty well all those months.

Prima Amigo - This product has a gray color to it and a nice scent (cherry/vanilla/baby powder), very attractive to the nose. I used a CMA foam pad (Red) and applied product to the whole vehicle. Amigo goes on pretty thin and if you apply too much you will see gray streaks. After waiting about 15-20 minutes I removed with a short nap MF. Amigo comes off pretty easy, even where I applied a little too much. The paint looked pretty glossy and slick after removal. The scent helps when removing, it even still smelled nice 45 minutes later when I was applying Epic. Overall, this is a very nice product from Detailer's Paradise (way to go Nick).

Prima Epic - This product has a white color and a semi chemical/paint scent to the nose. I also used a CMA foam pad (Red) and applied product to the whole vehicle. Epic also goes on pretty thin, but where applied a little to thick is not too much of a problem to remove. I waited about 30-40 minutes, and removed with a short nap MF. Epic removes very easily, even sometimes too easy, lol The paint looks really wet/glossy, and is pretty slick too the touch. Overall, this is a very nice product from DP.

To end, I believe I made a great purchase with these two products (I also bought four other Prima products) which I will get to try out in the near future. I would highly recommend Amigo/Epic. A nice one/two combo.

Yea!! Prima products rock!

Their glass cleaner (Prima Clarity) is just as amazing as Epic and Amigo. I would HIGHLY recommend their full line of products.

Today, the paint is looking deeper and wetter. A very nice combo.

Re: Reviews: Prima Amigo/Epic

Excellent review. I also use prima and have had trouble with epic. I must of applied it wrong somehow. Was a mungrel to spread and remove.

yet to try amigo but swirl is a winner. as good if not better than menzerna. It's deep cleaning ability and how fresh the paint looks with swirl is amazing.
