Some Opinions on LSPs to Try Next

I'm putting myself through quite a headache in this money-sucking quest of finding the "best" in LSPs.

Between these products and budget is flexible for all of them but preferably against Swissol's Smaragd, which product would you choose to be best to test? I'm just a bit tired of reading through pages and pages of people going for and against these four products so I figured the easiest way to make up my mind: a good ole poll.

I always enjoy and appreciate each person's opinion and thoughts and a many thanks. I am just a bit low on my LSPs and I have been using JW Prime & AJ for quite some time now for my clients and would love to get back to carnaubas (and Zaino as the exception).

For reference, I own and use the following LSPs:
Natty's Blue, JW AJ, SG, S100 & P21S, Soft99 Premium (Japan)

I vote Victoria's, because its the next wax I am going to try. I really like 5050 and Victoria's supposedly looks much better.

Keep using what you have, unless money started growing on trees, replacing what you already have with the same but more money is kinda a waste, no? IMO of course.

Re: Some Opinions on LSPs to Try Next

Thanks guys for your thoughts so far--I agree a lot in that what I have does the job well in most areas but this purchase is more of a "ah, lets expierment with something a little higher in price and see if it's justifiable for the price" and it would also be a precursor to a true boutique wax such as Destiny. It's hard charging $300+ for a detail and I'm putting on JW AJ when I could be adding boutique waxes and taking a hit profit wise (since I'd cut that into the price tier) but a nice mental thought behind each job and being able to charge an extra hundred for a Swissol product

Seems like the best choice so far is working with Zaino which is a system I am curious on from all the great reviews. As for Zymol Carbon, I did forget to add that option in and not sure if I can edit a poll :?

Re: Some Opinions on LSPs to Try Next

It's funny you mentioned that since I was just reading about it on Zaino's site right now and indeed it does look to be a very unique product. I'm going to do a bit of research on the topics here before I also consider that into the products list.

Thanks wannafbody.

Re: Some Opinions on LSPs to Try Next

If you're wanting it for extra $$$. Ask your customers if they'd be interested and if so, which wax? Which of the waxes would have greatest cred for your clients? I think you could market these waxes to sound super-premium.

Zaino, Souveran, and Zymol probably have brand recognition

Victoria's and the thought of fingertip application sounds $$$

You could also make some purple wax and market it as a custom blended product

Maybe consider 'Polycharging' products as a super-premium service??

Re: Some Opinions on LSPs to Try Next

Oh definately Sspeer--last year I did detailing as a very small side-job (~1 car/2 weeks) and charged about $350/job with JW AJ. This year I'll be upping detailing considerably and also setting up propper price tiers and packages--The use of Swissol and Zymol will be adding anywhere from $100+ to the base of 300 due to their name recognition and wanting "the best" while Souveran I figure I can add $75.00 for those who want a step up in my carnauba package tier.

Great to see another IL guy too!

Tried them all PS w/ polycharger looks best on "MY" car. It suits my taste. But each person view is different.

Re: Some Opinions on LSPs to Try Next

Ah thanks MDRX8, I've been hoping you'll see this thread (you probably remember when I was trying out Soft99 and seeing if it's the "new wax")--I'll read up on Polycharger since that's a product that seems to have appeared out-of-nowhere since I don't recall the product in the '06 season and have heard a lot of good reviews so far on it.
