Affordable LSP

I just bought my PC and need some help identifying an LSP

Current line up plan

Gold Class Wash
Meguires Clay
Sonus SFX-1 w/ Orange Pad
Sonus SFX-2 w/ Green Pad
????? - by hand with foam applicator

the ???? is where I need help. I need an affordable initial price LSP to go with this lineup. I have some Gold Class Liquid wax and meguires step three wax from before I purchased the PC but get the feeling these are not going to cut it. Anyone have a recommendation for an affordable LSP to finish up?

Also after the complete detail is finished, what would be a good product to apply after the cars have their bi-weekly was with the Gold Class Wash? I figure I can find time to go through the whole paint correction process every 4 to 6 months but would like some protection after the in between washes.

Both cars are daily drivers and are not garage kept because I am poor and live in an apartment. Neither car's paint needs to be show quality all the time, and one of them sees track days, but I would like to do the best I can with my limited time and resources to care for and maintain the finish.

Duragloss 105 Total Protection Polish...available at CarQuest and some NAPAs for $9.99 and good for roughly 5-6 months of protection, and longer when combined with AquaWax. It will be the longest lasting and probably best looking LSP you can get over the counter for the price.

You will get a million different answers, but if it were me I would use Collinite 845. Lasts on cars that are outdoors, very underated in the looks department IMO, and can be found at Car Quest. For maintaining I would pick up some Duragloss Aquawax, and use that once a month(also found at Car Quest).

Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection would be my choice.

now maybe I am mistaken but am I looking for another polish past the SFX-2 or am I looking for a sealant/wax

I thought I read that SFX-2 with a mild pad can be used as the last "polishing" step - then add a sealant or wax for protectant

I should have read the sticky but is LSP last step polish or protection? I thought protection but if its polish my post may not make sense

I guess to start with have you bought the stuff listed above already and are you looking for a lsp that you can order or pickup locally?

Yeah I already purchased the items I listed, and I don't care if I have to order it or pick it up. I just want the "right product" that I can afford. Between $10 and $20 for it is doable.

Since you live in an apartment, I'd consider Optimum Car Wax. My reason being that you can wax the car in just minutes. If you're doing this in the apartment parking lot, you can get a car covered in like 10 minutes and be done with it. It's really very quick. Since you have a PC, you could also look at Optimum Poli Seal. It is a finishing polish and sealant in one. Both products fall within your pricing requirements, and both are top notch. I have a lot of product and I use both of them very frequently.

Hey take a look through the trading post here. I mean, if you want something durable that looks pretty good 845 could be the ticket and dieselmdx has a bottle for 9 bucks. Just a thought, but if you wanted to save a couple of bucks the trading post is a great place to at least browse through.

Collinite can also be purchased at Advance Auto Parts sometimes, or maybe a boat store. Otherwise I can dig up the name of the site I purchased it from. It was out east somewhere and it was like $15 with free shipping.

The most affordable products would be the ones you don’t have to pay for.

You already have the Gold Class and Deep Crystal waxes. They’re perfectly good products so you might as well use them up before springing for something else.

They may not last as long as some others but it doesn’t sound like you’ll be going long enough between waxing to care.
