PO85RE5 vs. OPS

Today I had some free time and I decided to do a little shootout. I love great finishing polishes so I thought it would be nice to see PO85RE5 and OPS side-by-side. I finished around 16:30 so light was a bit scarce...

Process:
- ONR wash trunklid and the top of the rear fenders
- Dry with MF
- Products were applied identically; first pass on low profile Menzerna 13.5 cm orange pad by rotary @ 1500 RPMs, second pass Riwax blue 17 cm pad (same pad material as the Menz., only bigger) @ 1500 RPMs.

Pics after IPA wipedown. OPS on driver's side, Menzerna on passenger's.

Thoughts?

Bence,

It's hard for me tell by the pics. How do you think they looked side by side? I trust your judgement/eye more than I trust the pics. Cool comparison though.

Re: PO85RE5 vs. OPS

Looks pretty close to me, especially under the light. Kind of hard to tell for sure in the other pics because not the same exact object at the same exact distance show in the reflections.

Re: PO85RE5 vs. OPS

It was rather easy for me to see the differences. In all instances the passenger side looked better. It just seemed clearer to me like the polish broke down and polished out better.

FWIW, I have an absolutely awesome monitor.

Forgot to add, the "Light" pictures were impossible to detect anything, I don't see those to pictures contributing anything.

rather easy? you must have superman eyes. i have a dell 27" wide aspect, then i put it on my 50" LCD 1080p HDTV and I can't make out any (substantial) differences. you must be a menzerna fan?

Re: PO85RE5 vs. OPS

These are 2 completely different products with 2 different functionalities (sp?).
Am i right?
If i am (im probably not) then comparing the 2 dosent make any sense.

Re: PO85RE5 vs. OPS

Hard to tell by the pictures, but I prefere a polish without protection. Unless I need to to a "quickie", then I do like these kind of products.

Must try the OPS, think I am going to order a bottle when Optimum realeses their new sealant.

You must have super abilities to be able to deduce from pictures what MOST wouldn't be able to do in person.

I couldn't tell the difference if the picture was taken in RAW format. The difference is likely something that could only be seen in person.
