Propel pads for Cyclo

Could anyone recommend a good place to buy Propel pads for the Cyclo?

Thanks.

Re: Propel pads for Cyclo

Um...I thought the only place to get Propel pads was Excel Detail?

Re: Propel pads for Cyclo

I see; I didn't realize that. I just now looked at the site. They don't look much different than the same size LC pads. I'd expected them to be thicker. Anyone have any experience with both makers?

Re: Propel pads for Cyclo

I have the Propel II green pads, the Cyclo green pads, and the LC CSS white pads. The Propel pads are half again as thick as the Cyclo pads (ie the Cyclo pads are 2/3 as thick as the Propel pads). The LC pads just about split the difference between the Cyclo pads and the Propel pads. Excel does not appear to carry the Propel pads, but does carry the Erasure pads which do not seem to be color coded for aggressiveness the same as the Propel pads.

So far I prefer the Propel II pads over the Cyclo and LC pads, but I have not used all my polishes and compounds yet. Note I do not have the plain LC pads, so can't comment on them.

I see; so could you please tell me where you bought your Propel II pads?

Thanks,

Todd

I bought my propels a few months ago at Excel, now the erasure line is carried instead of the Propel pads. Sorry I can't be more help.

Re: Propel pads for Cyclo

The Edge is now making 4" pads for the Cyclo. I was talking to Aaron, and he said that with those pads, the machine will not vibrate at all! Autogeek has them in stock, but it does not come in any package deal.

Autogeek Cyclo Pads
Cyclo DoublePrecision™ Foam Pads

Hope this helps...

Joey

Edit: Sorry, didn't read your post completely for some reason, so I apologize. I didn't see the Propel thing Anyways, just to give you some extra info, here's a review by Anthony Orozco about the new Edge pads.

Re: Propel pads for Cyclo

If the Propel Erasure aren't to your liking, as bigfoot mentioned, AG seems to have every flavor of Cyclo pad, from the Cyclo brand, Spot Buff, low profile, to the aforementioned Edge.

Thanks very much! I actually just read Anthony's post; I think I'll have to give the new Cyclo pads a try instead!
