If You Use Optimum No Rinse Wash by the gallon...

I'm not sure if this is something that's already been brought up before, but I noticed that the instruction/package label on the gallon jug of ONR is for a 32 oz bottle. It's just covered up by another small white sticker stating it's actual size.

Anyway, I didn't think about this at first but in the instructions, it states to use 2 capfulls (1 oz) for every 2 gallons. Then it dawned on me that the caps aren't the same. The cap for the gallon jug is kind of hard to use as a measuring device. It's hard to explain, but what I consider to be a capfull may be different from your capfull. It's not just a plain empty cap. It has some plastic inside it.

Today when I was using the product again, I dumped 2 capfulls into a measuring cup. I came up short with only a 1/2 fl oz of product instead of the 1 fl oz required. So if you're using the cap to measure, you might want to look into that and make sure you're using enough product.

I hadn't noticed that or verified their cap size. I always use a 1 TBS measure when I am blending my potion du jour. Thanks for brining it up.

I also use a tablespoon to measure my ONR. 1 oz. is two tablespoons and I didn't think the cap held a tablespoon. Thanks for checking the amount.

I noticed that about 2 months ago. I still use the original 32 OZ cap and not the gallon. Diff volume.

I have a 32 oz bottle that I keep my ONR in so I don't have to carry a gallon with me all the time. The 32 oz bottle cap holds about half an ounce.
