ONR on engine bay

Is ONR flammable? BC I just sprayed a small amount onto a towel and wiped down the whole engine bay with ONR (slightly diluted). I needed to clean some engine oil and figured ONR was better bc I didnt have to rinse after. I didn't have that much ONR that the towel was sopping, it was only damp. I then followed up with a damp (water only) MF. Thanks.

Re: ONR on engine bay

I've used ONR in the engine bay with no problems quite a few times.

I spray brake cleaner on engines hot, cold, running, whatever many times everyday and nothing happens I wouldn't be worried about ONR

Gotta watch *which type of brake cleaner* you do that with. An Autopian from back in the day (the MIA Lynn from St. Louis) once sprayed brake cleaner under the hood of her Jag XJC and, well, it's a good thing she had a fire extinguisher handy to minimize the damage. And no, things weren't even hot in there.
