Okay a friend of mine ran into some people selling something called FW1 and told her that its a cleaning wax. They say its a waterless detail. Right from the begining I was praying that she was going to say she didnt buy any but she did and wants me to try it on her car. So before I do I wanted to know if any one has heard anything about this FW1 thing. heres the link I dont know, I call BS. Oh, go to products and click on FW1 and their waterless detail kit

I was given a can of this stuff to use as a QD. I haven't used it yet, I wanted to search here to see what others have said. My buddy swears by it but he is by no means a professional. MobileJay, Did you use it on your friends car? How did it perform?

The other day I pulled in to my local servo and there was a guy from sydney demoing and selling this stuff. I thought I'd go in for a closer look

It's exactly what I wanted, a foaming waterless wash, very light polish and wax/UV protectant.
I just had a customer bring in his FPV super pursuit ute in that was covered in tar and FW1 took it all right off.
So it's going to be used as a waterless wash on my hilux and also used to polish head and tail lights.

I also recieved a can of this from my mom (she knows how I enjoy cleaning my car) she said that someone sold it to her and that she really likes the way it makes her car look, I may try it in the trunk lid so that its' not visible to the outside, as soon as I use it, I will let ya'll know

Yea, that stuff is horrible, used it to protect my car (b/c I didn't yet have time to fully detail) while I am home over spring break (car is sitting in parking garage) so ya, I don't recommend it.

The petroleum lubricants are not the friendliest and thus I no longer use it
An aussie made waterless wash thats drinkable is my choice for dust removal

I just talked with a guy that does woodwork for high end cars, and he was highly recommending this fw1 stuff... (that's why I'm bumping up this thread). I'm questioning it based on the comments here.. any other input?

I also got this from a girl who sold it to me at a gas station and demonstrated it to me on my car. I was very impressed. I bought two cans for $25 plus tax.

She cleaned the door without water, which made me real nervous. I have a Lexus, but it was a good job. She also cleaned my windows and made them feel baby skin soft. Then she did my rims, also making them baby soft and they repel dirt.

Well, I am very into McGuirers and Mothers, cleaning products. I have bought many, so I had to buy this.

I concluded, that it is awsome for windows and rims. I use a clay bar, tech wax and showroom Polish to get that smooth feeling glossy look to my cars.

I cant imagine using this to clean my cars.. the physics of removing particles with a rag dosen't sound right to me. So I know that scratches are happening, even though they are being conceiled by the paroduct.

If anything was the car first, then you can apply.

I bought this for windows and rims.. in this manner it kicks Butt!
