Question DG aquawax in close to freezing conditions?

its close to freezing here in uk...very damp and frosty every night and just a little above freezing during the day

i wondered if i spray some aquawax on will it bond and cure properly in those conditions...or am i wasting product?

That's an interesting question. I think that the AW will do fine in freezing conditions, but I really don't know for sure. If you need the protection, then go ahead and just put on a layer on it. Or, even better, maybe you can do a test and put AW on one half of the car, and leave the other car like it is. And then you can take a look at the difference in beading, slickness, etc.. I'm sure others would be interested to find out also.

As long as it doesent freeze when you spray it on , it should be fine. Use less product, so its easier to wipe off.

I've used it @ -2ºC, but sunny, so water would run on the paint, rather than freeze immediately. Worked well. I think the key is the paint temp.-if that's warm enough, you're probably going to be ok.
