Puring car wash solution right on the mitt?

Hey guys, I've had great results by puring Kit Wash & Wax directly onto my sheep mitt. Granted I use such a concentrated dosage, the "wax" aspect of the wash really comes through, and my car looks terrific. However, I'm left wondering why no one else does this? If price or how much solution I use up is not an issue, is there any disadvantage to puring the car wash solution (I also do the same with Megs Cold Class) right into my mitt?

How much shampoo do you use per car wash? Let's start there.

I uses sometimse that method, iŽll uses maybee 1oz of concentrated schampo/car.

Gives a very nice sheeting action with the washŽn wax schampo.

Do you mean the shampoo itself? If so, I wouldn't do it personally for a few reasons. First, you're going to waste a LOT of shampoo. Secondly, the more it's concentrated, the higher chance there is that it won't rinse freely.

Thank you for the heads up. As for wasting, this has not been an issue. After nearly 20 washes, my Wash and Wax is still nearly full. I also have a 64oz Meguiars, with which I perform the same method. I doubt I'll EVER finish that. I'm only washing 1 car, once a week. So long as this method doesn't lead to marring, I'm not worried about wasting the soap.

As for washing off freely, it hasn't been a problem. If anything I'd say the excess lubrication that all this soap provides helps add excess shine (ESPECIALLY with the wash and wax) and further lubricates the paint helping avoid scratches

Any other items I should take into consideration?

How do you get the dirt out of your mit if you don't use a bucket?

I do you a bucket, just not for sudding up my mitt. I apply the wash to the mitt, clean car, dunk and shake in clean water bucket, rinse with hose, re-apply wash and continue.
