OK, OK, I'm up off the couch. Sorry I missed everyone's questions.

I've been using other brands of shampoos the past few weeks. A couple of very generous Autopians sent them to me (thank you!! ).

Next wash I promise to go back to the Platinum and check for slickness. Prolly be next week.

A couple days ago I washed a car (not mine) using Platinum; first time I've used it in several weeks. I'm still very happy with its performance as it worked just like I described in my first post.

It did not leave a slick finish behind that was noticeable. I know that some shampoos enhance surface slickness but I don't believe Platinum's does. It's important to note that this car I did had not been waxed/polished before (it was new) so there was no protection to enhance/improve. The Platinum shampoo just left the paint looking nice and clean.

I just used it today..FSPSUAWS -Four Star Platinum Series Ultimate Auto Wash Shampoo ...WOW... It sudsed...It went on great ...look of car was great. I will put in my top three, Meguiars Go;d and Pinnacles....will diffently use it again..
(also used the cleaner and polymer protectant today too )
