NOTE: pics just for reference, Collinite not on car.

If you do end up with the 845, shake it for longer than you think is necessary before you use it.

Thanks, RS! | |

I love 845 for whatever cars I know can't maintain like my own, and for my own in the winter. It looks nice, beads like crazy, it's easy to flush off dirt later on, and it lasts a good while.

On the other hand, 476 is a paste wax which gives relatively less shine compared to the 845. However, it's durability is 1-2 months longer.

While I've never done a side-by-side comparison, I suspect the new, VOC-reg-friendly version of 845 isn't quite as durable as the older formulation. Don't mean to make you paranoid about it or anything...but I would like to hear how it works out for you.
Oh, and when the bottle is new/full, I usually stir it up with a long (can very clean)screwdriver before I try to shake it up.

However, the weird thing it that it smells like solvents and chemically abrasive stuff, but it's actually a pure carnauba wax. It can't even remove minor water spots from drying But it would be nice if Collinite could smell like the cinnamon smell of Mothers Showtime shine or the grape smell of Meguiars Endurance Gel
