Ok fellow detailers please don't laugh at me on this one.

I'm trying to start carrying a product similar to like a Dri wash n guard. I want it to be spray bottle compatable , some cleaning , some protection ect.... I ask this because I see a market for this type of product here at a few local facialities. I do not use this type of stuff myself because of the detailing facilities I have access to , but other's here do not where I want to test market. I don't want to get into a pyramid type thing like DRI W&G is , that's not my intent.

I've heard of QEW , but it's not spray bottle compatable.
PB S&W is good but not enough cleaning ability and offers no protection and would not be cost effective.
Chemical's guy has a PB S&W type of product but kind of the same story as above .

Do any of you know where would be good company's or product's to check out ? I would like to buy in bulk and mfg. direct.

Please if you have any question's about what I want to do let me know so I can shed more light on it for you. like I said it's not how I do my cars and customers cars, but there is a need for this type of product that I have found.

Help a fellow Autopian out and no smart guy comment's.....LOL , OK maybe a few is ok.

    Thank's guys ( & gals )

    Mike

Mike, I wish they sold something like that. S&W/CG Speed Wipe is as good as it will get in terms of cleaning ability. Speed Wipe will put down a little protection, but not much. CG Pro Detailer w/carnauba might be a better choice, as it has similar cleaning ability but offers more protection. Even still, Pro Detailer is far from substantial. Good luck in your search.

Ooh, one more thought. If you're willing to sacrafice some cleaning ability and OK with experimenting, you might want to try a mix of CG Speed Wipe and UPPS (or similar). That way you could get some of the cleaning ability of Speed Wipe with some of the substantial protection of UPPS.

But it has zero protection so it doesn't fit the criteria. Plus the CG stuff is cheaper and IMO slicker.

I think Fallguy is looking for something like this-- Wet Paint.

I know people here are skeptical, and I agree that there aren't any miracle products that will turn dirty, swirled, crap-like paint into a shining diamond using only one step. But, there are several posts over on Detail City about this product. I know RTexasF has used this with decent results for some of his clients that won't pony up for a true polish then wax. He also mentioned that he finds a market for selling this type of detail using this product. From the posts I have read on DC, it seems to accomplish the task you seek.

Disclaimer--I have never tried the product.

The type of stuff I'm talking about is like I mentioned above "Dri-Wash and Guard" which also say's offers protection. Never used the stuff , but like everything else some swear by it......must be the Nu-Finish crowd.....lol

    Fallguy,

Try a product called Perfect Detail from Protective Products Corporation. I've used it for 18 years and it's amazing stuff (their whole line is as well).
