It has very light cleaning properties. It does leave behind a very low sheen, so much so that you won't even know there is anything on.

Optimum Protectant Plus??

is Optimum Protectant Plus.. a good leather and dashboard cleaner? i need something that can clean my interior without leaving it too greasy/oily.. and doesnt collect dust!!

Im my experience, its not a cleaner, but a protectant........Low sheen also...

If it is a protectant IE teflon or something along that lines it should not have a cleanign agent in it. As they would inhibit the adhiesion of the protectant.

Is this solvent based or water based?

How do figure? Water alone in the formula of a protectant will have a mild cleaning ability.
