My Favorite New Wax (The Japanese Souveran)

Well today my father dropped by Autobacs down on beach blvd. and bought me a little something. He got me the Soft99 Authentic Premium Pure Nuba which is their top wax for $18.99. My first impression was the packing was very Japanese, neat and interesting. It even came with a little tool with a top opener, brush and pick that has its own compartment on the top lid. When I first opened it I was surprise by how white the wax was and reminded me of pinnacle souveran. I ran into my garage and got the souveran out and compared the two. The authentic premium was slightly whiter than the souveran. Also souveran has that really sweet annoying smell while the authentic hardly had a smell.
Well I couldn't wait anylonger so I wiped a panel clean on my black rx-8 and applied the authentic premium. I wipped off immediately after I finished covering the pannel as the directions said not to let the wax completly dry. Wow, the results were awsome, very wet and slick kinda reminded me of p21s. Compared to souveran I think souveran has a slight edge with its famous "glow" but I must say for $18.99 its a impressive wax. I think this wax is some where between p21s and souveran. Anyways I just love this wax and will continue buying it when I run out, maybe I'll buy their other waxes as they have many different varieties to chose from. So if your in socal and drop by autobacs it couldn't hurt to try out this wax, its only a little over $20 with tax. I'll prob do the whole car next week, I'll try to post some pics up.

I have three tubs of that stuff. It's awesome, isn't it? I use it as my summer wax. I goes on so smoothly and a little really goes a long way. The special applicator that comes with it really helps it spread around. Glad I'm not the only one with it!

It used to be that this was the best wax from Soft99. They actually have another one called Soft99 Authentic Excellent. I don't have that (yet).

Mike-in-WV is an unknown quantity at this point
Is this stuff one of the best or most expensive you guy's go to when it comes to using nothing but the best? The reason I ask is that we all know there are products out there that are much less expensive and seem to protect, shine and do an all around beautiful job. What sets this stuff aside as a better product?
I'm sure if I owed some of the cars that you guys own I would want nothing but the best but what makes one wax/ sealer so much better than another? I'm not one to go by name or price for deciding factors when it comes to the "best", Mike
