what do you think of CHemical Guys MF towels?

i searched and found 1 topic on CG mf's but it was what i was looking for. sorry for a ne thread but here it goes. my costco craptastics towels really do suck... after 2-3 washes with dawn soap they loose all static and refuses to absorb (yes buffing and drying and everything were marked and kept seperate) and theyre starting to become a bit rough (no more plushness)... mehh... used up all 12 of them now and theyre just sitting in a box waiting for the dirty jobs...

time for new towels!! ive looked around pakshak, excel, and chemical guys and so far the cheapest is chemical guys. ofcourse i want to go for the cheaper one (being a 16 yr old doesnt mean you have a lot of money obviously!) but i also want some good quality MF's (not like the costco MFs...)... heres what im interested in (hey its blue too!):

Good to see another 16 year old on these boards! LOL

My yellow Eurow Coscto MF are awful. Might as well throw 'em out now if they're the same.

I've heard mixed reviews on the towels you linked to. These look like a lot like some other towels I have (Cobra Super Plush), a great choice for QDing. Also, these are probably better than the ones you linked to.

Don't forget about MF available locally. The VIKING QD towel, blue drying towel (use it for QDing though), and polishing cloth are all awesome, easily as good as the stuff online. Also, a 12 pack of Vroom MF (at Target) are great for all the oddjobs. Save the good stuff for your paint though.

You should also have a good waffle weave for drying. VIKING waffle weaves are great, and this is probably good too. I think all the new CG MF are from the same supplier that Cobra, VIKING, and a few other companies get from.

The Viking QD towel, (forrest green 16x24 w/a silk edge) is awesome! Nice and plush and a great size for QDing. Absorbs just the right amount of product. Available at my local KMart (except I bought everything on the shelf ). Best OTC MF and yes, it sure does compete with the online stuff. It's a 70/30 blend from Korea.
I also agree w/the Target Vroom's for door jamb and and other dirty work. The grey Vrooms are really good enough for the paintwork but I have so many other higher quality towels including the Viking's, I delegate them for the grunt work.

I'd like to know more about the new 8.75 mm (2/6 inch) thick CG MFs and the foam core WW that Sherman mentioned. Any experiences?

yea, i have a couple of the grey vrooms as well, but i use them primarily as backup if the rest of my nice cobra MF get dirty. Or sometimes i use them to QD that bird dropping on the side of my car

I need to make an order from pakshak though...
