New Lexus Product Suggestions

I'm getting anxious to shine up my wifes new IS350. The metallic red on this car is outstanding and I really want it to look good after I'm finished. Here's what I'm thinking so far. Any advice from you pro's would be appreciated.

1.Wash with Pinnacle Shampoo
2.Clay (if neccesary)
3.Wash again
4.Pinnacle Cleansing Lotion via PC
5.Menzerna or Poorboys Sealant
6.Pinnacle Souveran

The only product I don't have in house is the sealant. I've gotten good results with the others on my Z06. I think the Souveran will give me the richness and depth I'm after but I don't have experience with the sealants.

Thanks.

Glad to see you made it over here. Your line-up sounds pretty good.

Yup, that looks like a solid process. The only thing I woudl say is..

Clay - for sure!

If it hasn't been done yet, make sure to clay. You'll benefit for sure.

BTW, sweet ride!

Sounds good. As a newbie to this detailing stuff I found it hard to believe a new car would need to be clayed but the consistent attitude is that they definitely do. I clayed the Z06 and feel pretty confident with the process.

Anybody have any thoughts on the Sealant/Souveran combo? If I go with Mernzerna would FMJ be the product to use?
