Whats the best OTC products to shine/glaze your tires?

I know Back to Black doesn't sling like Armorall or Black Magic however it also doesn't leave me satisfied with the tire appearence... What do you suggest is the best to use on your tires?

Ive only used Black Magic, and I haven't noticed it slinging. When are you getting slingage with it?

I apply it when the tire is still wet but usually after about 15 minutes of driving it's all over the Wheels (Especially the rear wheels ((RWD Car))) and can sometimes shoot as far back as 2 feet down the door panel on the up front and is just all over the fender on the rear... It might just be me

Depending on how bad the tire is I use anywere from 2 to 3 coats... 3 Coats only being the tire hasn't had any dressing applied for over a month...

CG’s VRT is still my favorite . . . no sling and tries to the touch. Add multiple applications for more gloss

I use Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance High Gloss Gel, and I've had no major problems with it. Just make sure to wipe off the excess after letting it set on the tires for 20-30 minutes.

I'm still a bit new so forgive me if I ask a dumb question, but whats CG VRT? Where can you find it?

I second knocks post..........CG VRT is a good product, and no sling. Meg's Endurance gel also works well for me, no sling and very long lasting.

CAMERO, CG VRT is Chemical Guys VRT tire dressing. You can order it on line www.chemicalguys.com or there's a guy here DANASE who sells the CG stuff also. He's in Michigan where Chem Guys is in Los Angeles so if you're close to michigan you may save on some shipping costs.

Guys, look at the title again...OTC products.

I had a ton of slinging when using Black Magic gel. I hated it. My favorite OTC tire dressing right now is Mothers FX Tire Shine; it isn't greasy and it's a midpoint between matte and shiny.

Megs NXT insane shine is good stuff! Last a LONG time, and doesnt sling. You have to like reallly shiney tires though, as they say, this stuff is insanely shiney.

I'll put in a vote for Turtle Wax Tire Wax. Seems to work best when you do two applications and wipe off the excess. It won't sling unless you put it on really heavy. I went through a stage a couple of years ago where I wanted my tires as black and shiny as I could get them. I actually got it to sling on the paint one time, but that was after using almost 1/2 the bottle on 4 tires. Since finding this site, I've been more into a matte/sheen finish rather than a bling shine. I use Meg's Hyper-Dressing, which is actually OTC for me.

I was also kinda partial to Stoners MSLT, but it seems it won't last more than 2 hours unless you do multiple coats.

I've been pretty happy with Megs Hot shine. I have yet to have anyone tell me that it's too glossy (or not glossy enough) and have not had a problem with sling either.

I've used Armor All via an Eagle One tire swipe with good results and no or minimal slinging. I don't apply a whole lot ... just enough to nicely cover the tire and then I let the car sit for a couple of hours before I drive it. Armor All leaves a matte look on my tires, but that's fine as I don't like a real glossy tire.
